(More customer reviews)I am selling my SONY 5.1ch SURROUND (Model HTDDWG-700) locally thru classifieds and I bought this Noah Acoustabar eHT amplifier w/subwoofer. Since our living room is not huge, only 17 X 20ft...our 32" Viore TV (1080p) is planted squarely in front of our couch at approx 11ft. The aforementioned Sony 5.1ch surround system was way too much as well as unattractive & unsightly. As my wife and I grow older, we have found it harder & harder to hear movie dialogue. I'll admit that I never really understood all the buttons, whistles and knobs on the Sony HTDDWG-700, but whenever we'd try to watch a DVD or Blu-Ray in 5.1ch Surround...we'd struggle to hear the conversations.
So, we're selling the BIG SYSTEM and we put down $170 (here on Amazon.com) for this NoahCompany Acoustabar 32" eHT. It purports to have 2.1ch in a smaller form-factor and we liked the concept.
