(More customer reviews)UPDATE: Ok, they got all weird on me and stopped working properly after a couple of days. I am dropping my rating to 3 stars because they WERE great until they stopped working. Guess I am on the search for suitable wireless headphones again. =0(I decided to take a leap of faith and bought these based on price and one review (at the time).
At the price (29.99) I thought "Wow, these seem too good to be true.." Because in my experience you usually get what you pay for. But I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised! First of all the sound quality is nice! They don't go quite as loud as I would like them to go, but that is probably a GOOD thing in my case, as I love to listen to the music over my headphones a tad bit too loud. So who knows, these headphones may even save my hearing! Ha! They are pretty light weight... and even though I wanted black ones and got white, they are still kind of cool! I am just confused as to why they put fake button controls on the side of the ear phones that covers the battery? They look just like the play/pause/volume/tracks buttons on the side with the display, but slightly larger and useless? Maybe so it didn't look plain on that side? I would have been happy if they left it blank and smooth so I could add my own decal or something on that side and customize my headphones! (Hint to the company for the future!!!)
There are different sound settings such as rock, pop, etc. I find Classical to be the loudest... who knew?!
They are also very comfortable. They fit nice and snug over my ears and they don't bear down on the top of my head at all. One negative I have found is that so far they don't seem to have a shuffle option. I could be wrong, the songs seems to be playing in a random order but on the display it goes from track 1 to 2 to 3 and so on, and plays the same songs in the same order. As if the songs loaded on the SD card randomly, even though it showed alphabetical order in the window (more on the SD card and loading the music in just a second). I will play around with it some and edit my review if I figure it out.
OK! Now about the SD card and loading the music onto the headphones....
Contrary to one reviewer wrote, an SDHC card DOES work in these headphones. SDHC cards can not be read by some computer operating systems without a special card reader (purchased separately), and mine (Windows Vista) is one of them. I bought the 4 GB card that Amazon recommended and it works perfectly fine. I am wondering if the other reviewer bought a faulty card, or headphones?
Anyway, loading the music is REALLY easy despite my computer's handicap. I put the SDHC card into the headphones and plugged them into my computer via the included USB cord. A window popped up for options on what to do (Browse files, etc). You can just open your music folder and drag and drop your music into the SD card window. Simple as that. No need to use any programs like Windows Media. At least not for me!
And it doesn't seem as if you have to shut the head phones down to disconnect it from the computer like you have to with MP3 players.
That is all I have for now. I will play around with these some more and post anything new that I find!
