(More customer reviews)I was moving into a new house and thought it was time to get a new TV. After doing extensive research, and not wanting to pay the current high price for HDTV, I decided on this new Sony Wega. It was a simple decision, really. I mean as far as non-HDTV TV's go, this set blows away the competition. the closest runner up in my opinion was the Toshiba... but the extra [money] for this TV is more than worth it.
The picture quality is amazing. No other set came close. Combined with the asthetics of the set itself, this is one beautiful TV.
As far as sound goes, this set is 10 times better than anything I heard from other TVs this size. With built in subwoofers and the "WOW" sound feature, the sound is full and rich.
I've had this set for a few months now and I'm very glad I spent the extra couple hundred to have a better viewing experience every time I turn on the TV.
